Travel out of the city to experience the beautiful landscapes and some adventure. We start the day by visiting the famous Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex for a panoramic view of the natural beauty of Mongolia. The massive and shiny statue is the largest equestrian statue of Chinggis Khaan in the world.

Later, we will continue our travel to Terelj National Park where we will visit the Turtle Rock and Aryabala Temple for its stunning view of the paradise that awaits you. We will have lunch in a ger camp and visit a nomadic family to understand their pastoral nomadic lifestyle and hospitality. We must never fail to take advantage of the rare experience of a horse ride with the herdsman themselves. We would end our trip by returning to the city and transferring back to your hotel.

Naadam Festival officially starts on this day. Everyone should brace themselves for a festive and bustling day. We would transfer to the National Sports Stadium and get seated with locals and thousands of tourists from all over the world who had come to witness the festival under one roof. The Naadam Ceremony commences with the speech delivered by the President of Mongolia and is followed by many vibrant performances by the country’s leading dancers, athletes, horse riders, and musicians.

We would escape the stadium for lunch and come back to see the strong wrestlers and sharp archers. We can also walk around the stadium to watch the ankle-bone shooting game and rejoice in the local atmosphere with local Mongolians. This would be a priceless opportunity to watch a special Mongolian folklore concert and have a festive Gala dinner in the evening. We would take our overnight rest in the hotel.

After breakfast, we would drive for the national horse race and walk to the finish line of the racetrack. The horse jockeys for this event are all well-trained and talented children between the ages of 5 and 12 years. Many of them have been in the saddle since the age of 1 to 3. This would be an opportunity of a lifetime to watch and feel the emotional connection between the children and their horses when they complete the 20-kilometer distance while competing against over 300 other horse and their jockeys. We would serve you with packed lunch while you enjoy every moment of this experience.

We would then continue our tour which would lead you to Khustai National Park, which is famous for the preservation of Przewalski wild horses that had been reintroduced back into the wild in recent years. You can get the opportunity to get introduced to the breathtaking beauty of the National Park and proceed deep inside the park in search of the prized wild horses. We would take our overnight rest at the ger.

Today would take us back to history by exploring Mongolia’s Ancient Capital City Karakorum located in the Orkhon Valley. Chinggis Khaan`s choice of Karakorum City as the capital of the empire in Central Mongolia was no coincidence. The surrounding Orkhon Valley was the center of action for various nomadic dynasties that preceded the Mongol Empire. This holds enormous symbolic importance. Here, we would explore the Erdenezuu monastery, the Museum Karakorum, Phallic Rock, and Turtle Rock. We would take our overnight rest at the ger.

On this day we would return back to the city of Ulaanbaatar. Have a farewell dinner and enjoy a folklore concert. Overnight and stay in a city hotel. You would take your overnight rest at the hotel.
