Frequently Asked Questions Before Booking
Age of Children
– all clubs require a ticket per person. All ages are welcome, but there are things to keep in mind if bringing a baby or toddler. Please ensure the child is dressed appropriately for the cold weather/stadium and that you provide ear protection for the child.
Prams are not allowed inside the stadium and therefore, we recommend a baby carrier as an alternative. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult 18 years old +.
Away supporters
– our packages are in the home stands and if attendees are seen to be supporting the away team, the customer may be asked to leave the stadium without compensation, and Travel Connection will not be held responsible for this action.
Away Shirts
– No away shirts or colors are allowed within the home stands. The customer may be asked to leave the stadium without compensation, and Travel Connection will not be held responsible for this action.
Accessible seating
– Wheelchair seating is available upon request. Please email us with the preferred fixture. If a customer does not require wheelchair access but has reduced mobility, please put any seating requests (ie, an aisle seat) on the notes of your online booking and our operations team will allocate accordingly (subject to availability).

Arrival times
– opening times for each category are listed on the ticket description and e-ticket. We suggest arriving promptly to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy all your package inclusions. If your package includes hospitality, please note serving time (whether pre-game, half time or after the final whistle) as late arrival may result in missed hospitality. Commonly lounge areas open 2.5 hours prior to kickoff.
Bag Policy
– Small bags, a maximum of A4 in size, are allowed into the stadium. Please check your e-ticket for allowed content as bags will be checked entering the stadium.

Mongolia Private Trip FAQ
No, it's not necessary. According to the latest regulations, holders of Hong Kong SAR passports can enter Mongolia visa-free (staying for a maximum of 14 days); and holders of Macao SAR passports also enjoy visa-free access (staying for a maximum of 90 days). However, entry policies are subject to change, and it is strongly recommended to check the relevant consulate's official website for the latest requirements before departure. Additionally, please ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from the date of your return to Hong Kong.
May to September is the best season to visit Mongolia. If you want to explore the Gobi Desert, June or September is the most suitable time. The Naadam Festival, held annually from July 11th to July 13th, is Mongolia's grandest festival of the year. Hotels and flights to Ulaanbaatar are usually fully booked a year in advance, so it is strongly recommended to book a year ahead if you want to go!
Mongolian winter temperatures can drop to -20 to -30 degrees Celsius, but due to the dry weather, it feels very different from the damp cold of Hong Kong. The key to dressing for Mongolia year-round is the "onion layering" method: a warm base layer, a fleece or down mid-layer, and an outer layer that is windproof and waterproof. Also, don't forget sunscreen, lip balm, a personal first-aid kit, hiking boots, and a universal adapter.
It is recommended to bring US dollars (new net cash) to Ulaanbaatar airport or a bank to exchange them for the local currency, "Tugrik". Most of the time, you'll need cash to buy souvenirs or go horseback riding in the countryside. Our tour guide will take you to the place with the fairest exchange rate, so you don't need to worry about being overcharged.
Mongolia generally enjoys good public security, and its people are warm and friendly. However, in downtown Ulaanbaatar, crowded markets, or popular tourist attractions, it is advisable to keep your valuables with you and be wary of pickpockets. Once you reach the countryside, you are perfectly safe and can enjoy nature without worry.
No special vaccinations are required for travel to Mongolia. While tap water in cities is treated, bottled mineral water is strongly recommended (we will provide it during the trip). Additionally, it is highly recommended to purchase comprehensive travel insurance before departure, covering unforeseen delays and medical assistance.
We specialize in "deep and intimate tours" for groups of two or more, with a private driver and guide. The biggest difference is the high degree of flexibility. You don't have to rush to see attractions by bus, stopping whenever you see a beautiful view to take photos. You control the pace of the itinerary and truly enjoy a carefree travel experience.
There are direct flights from Hong Kong to the capital, Ulaanbaatar. Other common transit points include Beijing, Seoul, or Tokyo. For a more unique experience, taking the Trans-Siberian Railway from Beijing to Mongolia is definitely an exciting option!
Mongolia is a vast country with long distances between points, and the daily driving time varies from about 3 to 5 hours. Most of the roads in the countryside are open fields, so a bumpy ride is inevitable. However, Travel MaMa uses high-performance 4WD off-road vehicles throughout the route, and with the magnificent scenery along the way, the driver can stop at any time to let you get out and relax, so you definitely won't feel bored.
It depends on your arrangements! If you're on a large tour, the kids will complain about how tough it is. But if you're on a small group like Travel MaMa, you're in control of the itinerary and can take breaks whenever you want. It can be a really relaxing experience, and even a once-in-a-lifetime nature experience for the kids.
⛺ Accommodation and communication facilities
We've arranged accommodations for you that combine comfort with an authentic experience. In Ulaanbaatar, you'll stay in well-equipped hotels. In the countryside, yurt camps offer heating and comfortable beds, while staying in local guesthouses provides a more authentic local experience—the conditions will be simpler, but clean and warm.
There are shared, clean restroom facilities at tourist campsites in the countryside. If there are no public restrooms during the long drive, the guide will take you to experience the most authentic "natural restroom"—relieving yourself in secluded, safe bushes or in nature itself. This is part of experiencing Mongolian wilderness life!
Charging at hotels in Ulaanbaatar is not a problem. At campsites in the suburbs, there are usually outlets (European two-round pins) inside yurts or restaurants, but power supply at campsites may be limited (e.g., only at night). It is strongly recommended to bring a universal adapter and a high-capacity portable charger (urine bag).
Ulaanbaatar hotels offer stable Wi-Fi. However, when venturing deeper into the countryside, national parks, and lake areas, the signal becomes very weak or even completely lost. Consider this a rare opportunity for "digital detox"—immerse yourself in nature. Your guide will be equipped with a satellite phone for unforeseen circumstances.

There will absolutely be plenty of food! In Ulaanbaatar, we can take you to enjoy high-quality Western or Korean cuisine. While lamb is traditionally the main dish in the countryside, Travel MaMa's small group tours offer more flexibility, and we can request the chef to prepare beef, chicken, or vegetarian options in advance. If there are no restaurants along the way, we will arrange delicious bento boxes at the campsite, which our past guests have all been very satisfied with.
The tour will be accompanied by an experienced English-speaking guide. Regarding tipping, although it is not mandatory, if you are satisfied with the service, it is recommended to budget about US$10-15 (about HK$80-120) per day for the guide and driver team as a token of appreciation.

If there are uncontrollable factors such as natural disasters, we will notify you in advance of any rescheduling or refund arrangements.
If the product you ordered cannot be fulfilled due to insufficient stock or other reasons, we will provide a full refund within 24 hours
