Day 1:Valletta
Welcome to Valletta, the tiny capital of the Mediterranean island nation of Malta!
Your discovery of Malta starts with a private transfer from the airport to St. Julians to check in to your hotel.
Day 2:St Julians → Qrendi → Birzebbuga → Marsaxlokk → St Julians
Full day Tour of St. Julians with your private van and an expert guide.
First, drive to Qrendi, then take a boat and visit the Blue Grotto.
Then on to Birzebbuga, visit the Ghar Dalam Cave and Museum, discover the treasure remains ranging from animal bones to human works of art.
Then move to Marsaxlokk, Malta’s beautiful fishing village and visit their popular daily open-air market.
Then drive back to St Julians.
Day 3:St Julians → Mdina → St Julians
With your guide and driver, you will have the full day to visit Mdina. This medieval old town is situated on a hill in the centre of the island. It is tentatively listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site ans is also know as the Silent City.
Walk through the narrow streets and admire the imposing bastions that offer a fascinating view of most of the islands. Next in the program is the Cathedral dedicated to St. Peter & Paul. Inside, the immediate impression if one of granduer!
Admire the cliffs at Dingli, they are the island’s natural fortress. Go to the gardens of San Anton, a botancial delight. Visit the parish church of Mosta dedicated to the Assumption of our Lady. The final stop is in Ta’ Qali crafts village.
Return to St. Julians. Balance of the day is free at leisure.
Day 4:St Julians → Valletta → St Julians
Drive to Valletta, meet your guide and explore the capital city of Malta.
Visit the Church of St Paul’s shipwreck in the tangle of atmospheric backstreets to see the relics of Malta’s most revered Saint. Photostop at St John’s Co-Cathedral. Then take in views of the scenic Grand Harbour from Upper Barrakka Gardens.
Drive back to St Julians. Rest of the day free.
Day 5:St Julians → Gozo → St Julians
Full day excursion to Gozo with your private van and guide
Drive to Cirkewwa and take ferry to Mgarr in Gozo.
Drive to Victoria visit the Cathedral, see the Fungus Rock at Dwejra Point, Saint Laurence Bay, view Azure Window.
Photostop at Citadel. Head back towards Xaghra to see the temple complex at Ggantija.
Then take ferry back to Cirkewwa then off to St Julians
