Afternoon tea can be booked in advance to avoid rushing around with large groups.
Honey-colored stone houses, Bath, and Windsor are perfect for a leisurely trip through England. A 6-8 day trip to a single country is ideal; avoid packing too much driving into one day.
Castles and the Old Town tend to be crowded during festivals. London Christmas markets and Edinburgh New Year's Eve celebrations are also common from late November to December; hotels and tickets should be confirmed in advance.
Canyons, lakes, and whisky distilleries are good places to stop along the way. Weather is changeable, so the itinerary is flexible and actual stops will depend on road conditions and opening hours.
Dublin pubs and the coastline are often found on combined tours. Crossing the Irish Sea usually involves taking a ferry with your vehicle; tickets should be booked in advance. Ireland uses the Euro, and its entry regulations differ from those of the United Kingdom.
Some national-level tourist attractions do not allow outside guides to give commentary inside, or require a Blue Badge license. Mandarin-speaking guides will provide background information and directions outside the venue; entry is subject to the regulations at the time.
Start with how you want to travel
If you're focusing on the area around London or just the Scottish Highlands, we recommend 6-8 days. For a combined trip of England, Scotland, and Ireland, we suggest at least 10-14 days to minimize daily travel. A leisurely trip through a single country or a loop tour of all three can be adapted from our existing routes.
From April to September, there is more sunshine and relatively stable weather. Late November to December is a good time to visit in conjunction with Christmas markets or New Year's Eve celebrations in Edinburgh, but visitor numbers and room rates are higher. Prices vary depending on the season, number of guests, and hotel; please refer to the product page and the consultant for a quote.

It depends on what you want to do. For exploring the highlights of a single region (such as London and its surroundings, or the Scottish Highlands alone), 6-8 days are recommended; for a combined trip to England, Scotland and Ireland, at least 10-14 days are recommended to allow enough time for a slower pace.
A dedicated driver-guide and private vehicle will accompany you throughout the trip. If the itinerary involves crossing channels (such as to Ireland), we will assist in arranging large ferries for both passengers and vehicle to minimize the need for carrying luggage and transferring between vehicles. For some long-distance routes, domestic flights or train connections can also be arranged as needed, subject to the confirmed itinerary.
Accommodation for small group tours will be arranged by Travel Mama consultants. For cross-regional itineraries, accommodations will be booked along the route to align with the driver/guide's schedule, based on budget. Actual room type and location will be confirmed with the quoted price.
Provided that confirmed hotels, transport schedules and key tickets are not affected, and that reasonable driver working hours and road conditions permit, the driver/guide will do their best to accommodate minor adjustments on the day. However, impromptu changes cannot be guaranteed.
The itinerary usually includes hotel breakfast, but lunch and dinner are mostly not included. The driver/guide can recommend English or Irish pubs based on the day's route, catering to different budgets.
According to local regulations, some national-level tourist attractions (such as the British Museum and Windsor Castle) typically do not allow outside guides to give commentary inside, or require them to hold specific licenses (such as Blue Badge). Mandarin-speaking guides will provide historical background information and route guidance from outside the attractions.
Note before departure
Tickets for the Tower of London, the Harry Potter studios and ferries are in high demand. It is recommended to confirm your departure date as early as possible and have an advisor handle the arrangements.
Daylight hours are longer and the weather is relatively stable. Christmas markets and New Year's Eve celebrations in Edinburgh are expected to be crowded, so it's best to book your accommodation in advance.
Both the UK and Ireland drive on the left. The UK uses the pound sterling, while Ireland uses the euro. Tipping depends on the situation; restaurants often include a service charge.
Some castles and museums do not allow outside guides to give commentary inside. The driver/guide will explain the route to the visitors outside the premises.
Breakfast is usually included. If you'd like to try afternoon tea or a pub, you can book a time slot; you don't need to join a group meal.
