Fado is a singing tradition from Lisbon and Porto, Portugal, with a more reserved atmosphere and often performed in pubs. The two are not the same type of performance.

There is a ZTL restricted area within the city.
Madrid, Barcelona, and Lisbon's old town all have restricted areas. Driving yourself can easily lead to accidental violations and fines; small tour groups typically use licensed drivers familiar with the routes.
Both the Sagrada Familia and the Royal Palace require advance tickets.
Besides the Alhambra, it is also recommended to book time slots in advance for Barcelona's Sagrada Familia and the Royal Palace of Madrid during peak season to avoid long queues and losing half a day in queues.
Fado is not the same as Flamenco
Flamenco is in Andalusia; Fado is in Lisbon and Porto. The atmosphere of the two venues is different, so the itineraries should not be treated as the same.
The city will be quiet during lunchtime.
Some shops in southern Spain and Portugal close at midday. Important tickets and museums should be purchased during their opening hours; don't assume they're open all day like in Hong Kong.
