Day 1
Welcome to Madrid
Airport transfer service will be arranged to the hotel. You are free to move around and rest upon arrival.
Day 2
Madrid Leon Oviedo
Depart Madrid in the morning, passing through Tordesillas to learn about the town's history, before heading to León, located on the Camino de Santiago, for a free lunch and a visit to the Gothic cathedral. Afterwards, travel through the Cantabrian Mountains to Oviedo, where a local guide will lead a 1.5-hour city tour, including the cathedral, the Oviedo Conference Palace, the Campoamor Theatre, and Calle Rúa.
Traffic Notes:If there are fewer passengers departing from Madrid to León, the journey may be changed to train or regular transportation, and will not pass through Tordesillas.
Day 3
Oviedo Covadonga Santillana del Mar Santander
Travel to the Top of Europe region to visit the Covadonga Basilica, then along the coast to Sant'Tillana del Mar, a well-preserved medieval neighborhood. The itinerary includes admission to the Altamira Cave National Museum, followed by a guided tour of Santander, offering panoramic views of the city and bay.
Day 4
Santander Bilbao Madrid
Travel along the Cantabrian coast to Bilbao, where you'll explore the Guggenheim Museum district, the old town, and the cathedral area with a local guide. After the tour, you'll be free to sample authentic pintxos before returning to Madrid, arriving around 8 PM.
Traffic Notes:Transportation from Bilbao to Madrid may be diverted to regular bus or train services depending on the number of passengers.
Day 5
Madrid - End of Trip
After breakfast, the tour concludes, and you may leave the hotel according to subsequent arrangements.
