How cold is Mongolia in winter? How should I dress?
Winter temperatures in Mongolia can drop to minus 20 to 30 degrees Celsius or even lower. However, due to the extremely dry continental climate, the sensible temperature feels vastly different from Hong Kong's "wet cold." The key is the"onion dressing method" (layering):Wear a moisture-wicking thermal base layer, a fleece or lightweight down jacket as the middle layer, and a windproof and waterproof outer layer or a thick down coat as the outermost layer. In addition, a warm beanie, scarf, gloves, wool socks, and high-top waterproof snow boots are also essential equipment.
What are the accommodation conditions like in a yurt compared to a local hotel?
Our accommodations are designed to combine comfort with an authentic adventure experience. In Ulaanbaatar, the capital, you'll stay in a well-equipped 4-star hotel. When venturing deeper into the snowfields and lake areas, the yurt camps will offer well-heated facilities and comfortable beds, but toilets and showers are usually shared. The local guesthouses on the edge of the Arctic Circle offer a more authentic experience; the conditions will be simpler, but clean and warm are guaranteed.
Is internet access available during the trip?
Stable Wi-Fi is available in hotels in the capital, Ulaanbaatar. However, as we drive deeper into the northern suburbs, national parks, and frozen lake areas, the signal becomes very limited or even completely lost. We recommend taking advantage of this unique "Digital Detox" opportunity to fully immerse yourself in the magnificent natural beauty of the snow and ice. Your guide will be equipped with a satellite phone for any unforeseen circumstances.

Day 1 Arrival in Ulaanbaatar and City Tour 55 km
Upon arriving at Chinggis Khaan International Airport, our dedicated guide will welcome you and arrange a private transfer to your hotel.
• After settling in, head to a local specialty restaurant for a sumptuous welcome dinner, giving you a first taste of Mongolia's rich culinary culture.

Day 2: Ulaanbaatar ➔ Murun (800km)
After breakfast, embark on a long winter adventure in a powerful 4x4 off-road vehicle.
• We'll pass through the Tuluugiin Davaa Pass, stop to photograph the stunning snowscape, and enjoy traditional Mongolian steamed dumplings (Buuz) for lunch.
• Arrive in the northern town of Murun in the evening, check into a local hotel, and enjoy Mongolian and Western meals.

Day 3: Murun ➔ Gurvansaikhan (320km)
After breakfast, we continued north to the northernmost, frigid border of Mongolia.

• Arrive in Gurvansaikhan in the evening and check into a cozy local guesthouse to experience nomadic hospitality and home-cooked meals.

Day 4 Day Trip to Zuun Taiga National Park and Reindeer Breeding Family 60 km
Explore the pristine wilderness of Darkhad Valley and admire the snow-covered forests and rugged mountains.

• The vehicle will then drive onto the solid "ice road" of Lake Khuvsgul, experiencing the visual awe-inspiring sight of the surrounding snowfields and distant snow-capped peaks.
• Upon arrival, check into the campsite and enjoy a heartwarming meal at the restaurant.

Day 6: Khuvsgul Lake - Full-day polar activities
