Climb the 5th century Sigiriya Rock Fortress which is a world heritage site, built by King Kashyapa (477-495 AD). Leave for Kandy.
En route at Matale visit a Hindu temple, a batik factory and a spice garden.
Arrive in Kandy, head to the annual carnival venue, visit the Temple of the Tooth, etc. Stay at a hotel in Kandy.
Day 4
After breakfast, visit the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya.
Proceed to Nuwara Eliya, known as the “Little England” of Sri Lanka. En route see the mountains covered with tea bushes and cascading waterfalls.
Visit a tea factory and a plantation to see the tea manufacturing process. Enjoy a freshly brewed cup of “Ceylon Tea”.

Day 5
After breakfast leave for South West beach resort.
Travel through a beautiful landscape & see the widest waterfall of Sri Lanka.
Drive through Kithulgala where the Oscar winning movie “Bridge on the River Kwai” was filmed.
Spend the evening relaxing, stay at a beach hotel.
Day 6
After hotel breakfast, enjoy free time in the morning. In the afternoon, head to Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka, for sightseeing:
Visit Buddhist temples to understand Buddhist culture; explore Hindu temples to experience different religious cultures; tour the Pettah market to feel local life; visit the spice garden to enjoy the scenery; see historical buildings like the former British administrative center and military fort; stroll along the seaside promenade to take in the ocean breeze; and go to the Gangaramaya Temple to view a replica of the world's tallest standing Buddha statue, among other activities.
Dive into the main shopping centers of Colombo, like Fashion House Shopping Plaza, Odel Department Store, and others, to experience the commercial culture.
Transfer to airport for the flight back to your hometown.
