This is not a Japanese trip designed solely for "checking off" tourist attractions. The 4-day, 3-night journey from Takarazuka to Kobe, and then across the sea to explore Awaji Island and Numajima Island, is connected by a clear main theme: how the Japanese understand "blessing," mythology, and daily life.

Takarazuka | A journey that begins with hot springs and kaiseki cuisine

On the first night, guests stayed at Hotel Wakamizu, where they washed away the fatigue of their journey with a rose-scented hot spring, and then enjoyed kaiseki cuisine and Hyogo sake in a private room. Without the pressure of rushing to see the sights, guests were able to experience the delicate side of Takarazuka through their accommodation, cuisine, and sense of ritual.

Kobe | A Day in the Life of Prayer Culture and Urban Taste

From the approach to Kiyosumi-ji Temple, the sacred site of Kiyohara, to the Ebisu faith at Nishinomiya Shrine, Day 2 elevates temple and shrine culture beyond a mere pilgrimage. In the evening, shift the pace and enjoy a private Kobe beef dinner at Art Aquarium átoa, experiencing Kobe's blend of tradition and modernity amidst an art aquarium space, sake, and jazz music.

Awaji Island & Numajima | Get Closer to Creation Legends by Fishing Boat

Day 3 is the most distinctive part of the entire trip: a ride on a local fishing boat to Numashima (Swamp Island), viewing the island's outline from the sea, and understanding the place of this sea area in Japanese mythology through the legends of Izanagi and Izanami. This day involves not only sightseeing but also walking and getting close to nature, making it suitable for travelers who enjoy cultural depth and light outdoor experiences.

Why choose a private small group tour?

Groups of two or more can easily form a tour, allowing for adjustments to the itinerary based on flight schedules, physical condition, and interests. Days 2 and 3 feature private guides who explain key cultural elements while maintaining ample personal space. If you wish to explore the origins of Japan and Kansai culture in a higher-quality way, this route will be more memorable than typical city tours.
