Day 1
Valletta arrived
Welcome to Valletta, the capital of the Mediterranean island nation of Malta! You will be transferred by private car to the St. Julians Hotel for check-in and to begin your exploration.
Day 2
St Julians → Qrendi → Birzebbuga → Marsaxlokk → St Julians
Embark on a full-day sightseeing tour, traveling by private minibus with a professional guide. First, head to Qrendi for a small boat tour of the famous Blue Grotto. Next, travel to Birzebbuga to visit the Ghar Dalam Cave and Museum, exploring animal bones and prehistoric artifacts. Afterwards, visit the picturesque fishing village of Marsaxlokk and stroll through its famous daily open-air market. The tour concludes with a return trip to St Julians.
Day 3
St Julians → Mdina → St Julians
Today, we'll take a day trip to Mdina with our guide and driver. Mdina is a medieval town in the heart of Malta, nicknamed the "City of Tranquility," and is on the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List. Stroll through its narrow streets and climb the ancient city walls for panoramic views of the island. Then, visit the St. Peter & Paul Cathedral to admire its magnificent architecture. Visit the Dingli Cliffs to admire the spectacular sea cliffs and head to San Anton Gardens to enjoy the botanical landscape. Visit the Mosta Dome Church and the traditional craft village of Ta' Qali. In the evening, return to St. Julians for free time.
Day 4
St Julians → Valletta → St Julians
Travel by car to Valletta, the capital of Malta, to meet your guide and begin exploring the city. Visit St. Paul's Shipwreck Church to admire the relics of Malta's most revered saint. Take photos outside St. John's Co-Cathedral and then head to Upper Barrakka Gardens for stunning views of the Grand Harbour. Return to St. Julians in the evening for the rest of the day at your leisure.
Day 5
St Julians → Gozo → St Julians
Today we embark on a day trip to Gozo. We'll travel by car to Cirkewwa and take a ferry to McGarr (Gozo port). We'll visit downtown Victoria and the cathedral, then head to Dwejra Point to admire Fungus Rock, Saint Laurence Bay, and the once-famous Azure Window. We'll stop at the Citadel for photos, and then travel to Xaghra to visit the World Heritage Ggantija megalithic temple complex. Finally, we'll take the ferry back to Malta and then back to St. Julians.
