From your arrival in Kota Kinabalu, a private vehicle takes you deep into the Kawa-Kawa mangroves in search of proboscis monkeys and magical fireflies. Then travel back in time at Mari Mari Cultural Village, where you can see the buildings of five major indigenous tribes up close and taste traditional food. The itinerary also includes island hopping to Manukan Island and Sapi Island, where you can enjoy snorkelling in crystal-clear waters. Day 1
Arrival in Kota Kinabalu
Airport transfer and hotel check-in. After arriving at Kota Kinabalu International Airport, a private vehicle will take you to your hotel to check in, ready to begin your Sabah adventure.

Day 2
Kota Kinabalu City – Kawa-Kawa Mangroves (Proboscis Monkeys & Fireflies)
Breakfast at the hotel at 06:00, followed by free time. Hotel pick-up at 13:45, and at 14:00 visit Kota Kinabalu City Mosque (stay of about 15-20 minutes). Then depart at 14:20 for the Kawa-Kawa jetty, arriving at 16:00 for light refreshments. At 16:45, set off by boat to see proboscis monkeys in their natural habitat, and at 17:30 enjoy a charming riverside sunset (weather permitting). After dinner at 18:30, board the boat again at 19:15 to see the magical fireflies. Set off back at 19:30, arriving at the hotel at around 21:00.

Day 3
Mari Mari Cultural Village – Handicraft Market – Durian Street
Breakfast at the hotel at 06:00. At 09:15 you will be picked up from the hotel and taken to Mari Mari Cultural Village to learn about the traditional cultures and architecture of Sabah's indigenous tribes. Lunch of local food at 12:00. At 13:30, visit the Handicraft Market, followed by a seaside/Nyonya-style tea break at 14:30. At 16:00, head to Durian Street to soak up the lively atmosphere, and at 18:00 enjoy an authentic, delicious bak kut teh dinner. Return to the hotel at 20:00 to rest.

Day 4
Tropical Two-Island Tour (Sapi Island & Manukan Island) – Spa Massage
Breakfast at the hotel at 06:00. At 08:15, private transfer to the Kota Kinabalu jetty (Jesselton Point Ferry Terminal). At 08:45, take a boat to Sapi Island for free time or water sports (water activities at your own expense). At 12:00, enjoy a hearty barbecue lunch. At 13:30, head to Manukan Island to snorkel off the beach or continue with water activities (at your own expense). Return to the jetty at 15:00 and enjoy English afternoon tea at 15:30. At 16:30, go to Marima Garden Spa for a soothing 60-minute massage (choice of foot or full-body massage). Seafood dinner at 18:00, and return to the hotel at 20:00.

Day 5
Kota Kinabalu City Tour – Airport
Breakfast at the hotel at 06:00. At 12:00 noon, check out and be picked up from the hotel for an authentic lunch at the famous Yee Fung Laksa. Then enjoy a city tour, visiting the Atkinson Clock Tower and Sabah Tourism Board, and stop at a shopping centre for some last-minute shopping. At the end of the tour, a private vehicle will take you to Kota Kinabalu International Airport, ending your trip with wonderful memories.
