This 8-day Sichuan–Chongqing route starts in Chengdu and visits, in turn, the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, Mount Emei, Leshan, Wulong and Chongqing. There are stays both in Chengdu city and in the mountains, with a second-class high-speed train connecting Chengdu East Station and Wulong South. The flights and trains below are for reference only; actual arrangements are subject to ticketing and the formal confirmation.

DAY 2 · Chengdu
Visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, with the in-park electric shuttle included for reference; then explore Jinli Ancient Street and People's Park to see Chengdu's different sides, from conservation to everyday teahouse life.
DAY 3–4 · Mount Emei / Leshan
Head to the Golden Summit of Mount Emei, with the sightseeing bus and return Golden Summit cable car included for reference; the next day, take a boat in Leshan to view the Giant Buddha from the river, then stroll through Suji Ancient Town. If the boat is suspended because of water levels or weather, the documents state that the visit will switch to the hill route on foot.
DAY 5–6 · Wulong
Take the high-speed train to Wulong and visit Fairy Mountain National Forest Park, with the small train included for reference; the next day, explore the Three Natural Bridges, with the scenic-area eco shuttle bus, lift and exit electric shuttle included for reference, then head to downtown Chongqing.
From Chengdu's pandas and the cultural and natural scenery of Mount Emei and Leshan, the route moves on to Wulong's karst landscapes and Chongqing by night: an eight-day itinerary with a clear theme.
The Golden Summit of Mount Emei, the Leshan Giant Buddha and Wulong's Three Natural Bridges are the heart of the itinerary. Mountain, boat and cable car arrangements are subject to the day's weather and scenic-area operations.
Ride the Yangtze River Cableway, see Hongyadong lit up at night, visit Ciqikou, the Liziba viewing platform, Xiahaoli and Longmenhao, then go up to the Yikeshu (One Tree) viewing platform on Nanshan to look out over the mountain city.
Reference flight: Cathay Pacific CX986 departs Hong Kong at 10:00 and arrives at Chengdu Shuangliu Airport at 12:35. Local staff meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel for check-in; the rest of the day is free.

Drive to Mount Emei and take the scenic-area sightseeing bus and return Golden Summit cable car (for reference) up to the Golden Summit to enjoy the mountain ranges and alpine scenery. The sea of clouds and visibility depend on the weather; the areas actually open are subject to the scenic area's arrangements.

In Leshan, take a boat to view the Leshan Giant Buddha from the river; no climb is arranged. Then visit Suji Ancient Town before returning to Chengdu. If the boat is suspended due to water levels, weather or other reasons, the visit will switch to the hill route on foot as set out in the itinerary documents.

Take a second-class high-speed train from Chengdu East Station to Wulong South, with a reference journey time of about 3 hours; the documents list G2321 departing at 10:20 as the reference train. Then head to downtown Chongqing, take a one-way ride on the Yangtze River Cableway (for reference), stroll along Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street and enjoy the night views around Hongyadong in the evening.

Visit Ciqikou Ancient Town, the Liziba viewing platform where the light rail runs through a building, Xiahaoli and Longmenhao. In the evening, head to the Yikeshu (One Tree) viewing platform on Nanshan for night views of Chongqing; actual views depend on the weather.

Free time after breakfast, then transfer to Chongqing Jiangbei Airport according to your flight time. Reference times: depart Chongqing 17:25, arrive Hong Kong 19:55; the return flight number is still to be confirmed.
