Day 1
Arrival in Zurich
Welcome to Switzerland! We will pick you up and take you to your hotel, where you will have some free time. Overnight at your chosen hotel in Zurich, ready to begin your wonderful Swiss and Italian tour.
Day 2
Zurich city tours and lake cruises
The tour guide will lead a tour of Zurich, Switzerland's financial and cultural capital. Afterwards, we will take a boat trip on Lake Zurich (approximately two hours), enjoying the villages along the way. We will disembark in the charming village of Rapperswil, overlooked by a medieval castle, and then take a train back to Zurich, experiencing the efficiency of the Swiss railway system. Note: Depending on the number of passengers, transportation to and from the city center may be provided by public transport.
Day 3
Zurich → Lucerne → Zurich
Travel to the INTERLAKEN region for stunning views. Stop in GRINDELWALD, take the cable car up the mountain, and stroll along the winding path to the suspension bridge, enjoying the beautiful glacial scenery. Lunch will be served on the mountain (included). After descending, continue to Lucerne, one of Switzerland's most beautiful cities, and return to Zurich after a leisurely walk. (Note: A full-day optional tour of Mount Titlis can be offered by the guide).
Day 4
Zurich → Lugano → Como → Milan
Depart Zurich early in the morning, crossing the Alps to reach Lugano, the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland, where you'll stroll and enjoy lunch. Then, enter Italy, arriving at the jewel-like town of Como in Lombardy, where you can admire the beautiful lakes and cathedral. Upon arrival in Milan, your guide will take you to the impressive Cathedral Square. In the evening, you are free to dine at any restaurant in the city.
Day 5
Milan → Pisa → Rome
Today we travel to PISA. We'll take a miniature tourist train to Piazza dei Miracoli, where you'll have time to admire the architectural masterpieces, including the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa. Afterwards, we'll continue south to ROME, arriving at the Eternal City at the end of the day.
Day 6
Rome City Guide
In the morning, enjoy a scenic tour, visiting the Vatican City, the heart of the Christian world, and St. Peter's Basilica. Admission to the Imperial Forum in Rome is included, allowing you to explore the center of ancient Roman political activity. In the evening, we'll travel to the Trastevere district, strolling along its narrow cobblestone streets and savoring local cuisine at charming Italian restaurants.
Day 7
Rome → Florence
Depart Rome and head north. Upon arrival in Florence, head straight to the magnificent Piazzale Michelangelo. In the evening, tour the historic center with a local expert, visiting places such as the Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo, and Plaza della Signoria. Enjoy your free time to explore this open-air museum and have dinner at your leisure.
Day 8
Florence → Venice
Travel through the Appení Mountains, enjoying breathtaking mountain views as you arrive in Venice. Take a boat trip through the Giudecca Canal to the island of Venice. Visit the magnificent St. Mark's Square with a local guide. Afterwards, visit the Murano Glass Factory to learn about the wonders of ancient glassmaking techniques. Enjoy your free time to explore at your own pace. Overnight in the Mestre district.
Day 9
Departure from Venice
After breakfast, our journey will come to an end. With fond memories of your trip to Switzerland and Italy, a private car will take you to the airport.
