Holders of Hong Kong or Macau SAR passports currently enjoy a 10-day visa-free stay, provided they have a return ticket or onward ticket to a third country departing within 10 days of entry. Although the two governments signed a mutual visa exemption agreement in June 2026 (planned to extend the stay to 30 days), the current regulations will strictly adhere to the 10-day limit until the agreement is officially implemented. Special reminder: This 10-day visa-free policy primarily applies to international air ports of entry. If entering via land border crossings (such as the Kazakh land border), it is strongly recommended to obtain a Uzbek e-Visa in advance to avoid border congestion.
