Q1: Do HKSAR passport holders need a visa for Mongolia?
A1: No. HKSAR passport holders enjoy visa-free entry for up to 14 days. Please ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your return date.
Q2: How cold is Mongolia in winter? What should I wear?
A2: Temperatures can drop to -20°C to -30°C. The key is "Onion-style layering": a moisture-wicking base, fleece/down mid-layer, and a windproof/waterproof outer shell. Don’t forget thermal hats, gloves, and snow boots.
Q3: What are the accommodation standards like?
A3: We balance luxury with authenticity. You’ll stay in 5-star hotels in Ulaanbaatar and premium Ger camps in rural areas. While camps have heating and comfortable beds, some may have shared bathroom facilities unless otherwise specified.
Q4: Is there internet access during the trip?
A4: Expect stable Wi-Fi in Ulaanbaatar hotels. However, signals are very limited or unavailable in remote National Parks and lake regions. It’s a great chance for a "Digital Detox"; your guide will carry a satellite phone for emergencies.
Q5: What language does the guide speak? What about tipping?
A5: Our tours include experienced English-speaking guides. While not mandatory, tips are appreciated for great service. We suggest budgeting around USD 10-15 per day for the guide and driver team.
