Day 1
Arrive at Colombo – Kandy (100km – 3hrs)
Arrive at the International Airport in Colombo. Our representative will meet and greet before transferring you to Kandy. Dinner included at the hotel. Please note alcohol will not be served in public areas in hotels and restaurants during religious holidays.

Day 2
Kandy – Peradeneya – Kandy (12km – 30min)
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Travel from Kandy to Peradeniya. The Royal Botanic Gardens of Peradeniya, originally a private royal garden later remodeled by the British and now part of the Sri Lanka Wonders, is located just 4 miles from Kandy and boasts state-of-the-art facilities. Stroll through this 147-acre garden, where meticulously maintained lawns, gazebos, and octagonal conservatories will captivate you with their expansive green lawns, providing a tranquil retreat. North of the entrance, a café offers a glimpse of some of the highlights, including the Orchid House and the enormous Javanese banyan tree, exuding elegance. Return from Peradeniya to Kandy. Experience the Kandy tradition centered around the ancient Kandy, jeweled by the Temple of the Holy Tooth of Buddha. Passing through this lakeside town nestled among misty hills, you'll find Kandy city centre, home to the latest world-class brands, markets, arts and crafts centers, as well as a gem museum and gem processing factories. Wander through the Kandy markets and soak up the vibrant colors of fruits and vegetables. Evening entertainment, set against a backdrop of traditional music and drumming, enhances the rich and diverse culture of the Sri Lanka Wonders. Return to the hotel for dinner.

Day 3
Kandy – Nuwara Eliya (80km – 3hrs)
Breakfast at the Hotel. Transfer from Kandy to Tea Plantation. Sri Lanka, Tea and Tourism are words which cannot be separated. Step into a tea factory processing the prestigious brand of Ceylon Tea, to observe a rich tradition kept alive up to date. As you observe the hissing and swishing of machines, inhaling the heavenly scent arising from these facilities, make sure to end your day in style over a perfectly blended cup of pure Ceylon Tea. Transfer from Tea Plantation to Nuwara Eliya. Augmented by an English countryside atmosphere, the city of light - once governed by English & Scottish planters - is still studded with colonial bungalows, hedgerows & one of the finest 18-hole golf courses in the world. A hike through the green grass and red-brick walls should present breath-taking views of a buzzing countryside hamlet. Drive through green valleys of the hill country pierced by endless waterfalls & dotted by tea pluckers draped in bright-coloured saris. Dinner at a hotel.

Day 4
Nuwara Eliya – Yala National Park – Tisemaharama (160km – 4hrs)
Breakfast at the Hotel. Transfer from Nuwara Eliya to Tissamaharama. As your jeep rumble through the giant gates of Yala, you are not only stepping into the most visited national park in the country but also the lands of a civilization which thrived during the reign of Sri Lankan kings. You name it, and Yala has it! Its usual inmates cover herds of elephant, sloth bear, spotted dear, jackal, extensively populated birdlife as well as the highest density of leopards in the world that garnish the park to be one of the finest destinations in the country. Feel the rough track as your jeep thunders over rocks and swish passing narrow bends for an exhilarating experience blended with the cries of wilderness under the tropical sun. Transfer from Yala to Tissamaharama. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 5
Tisemaharamo – Galle – Southern Coast (200km – 3hrs)
Breakfast is served at the hotel. Depart from Tissamaharama for Galle. Stroll through the Dutch-style streets, listening to the creaking of wooden tavern doors, and observe the fusion of European architecture and South Asian traditions, a fascination for culture lovers worldwide today. Its original walls and fortresses have been preserved to this day, showcasing over three and a half centuries of traditional cultural heritage. Walking clockwise inside the fortress, you'll see the "Old Gate," adorned with the British coat of arms. Flanking the Old Gate are the oldest Zwart bastions and an 18-foot-high lighthouse, located next to the Point Utrecht Bastion. This Dutch paradise is composed of streets arranged in a rectangular grid pattern, winding through Dutch colonial-style corridor houses. Enter the Dutch Hospital shopping center and indulge in a wide selection of souvenirs. However, its hallmark is reality; the Dutch Fortress remains a working community, with its typical administrative offices, courthouses, commercial buildings, churches, and southern residents bustling through the streets, embodying the spirit of Galle's architectural paradise! Dinner is served at the hotel.

Day 6
Southern Coast – Colombo (80km – 1.5hrs)
Depart for Colombo. Colombo City Tour: Colombo is Sri Lanka's largest city and its current administrative capital. It's a vibrant city blending modern life with remnants of its colonial past. Thanks to its expanded port and strategic location, it serves as a crucial link between the Eastern and Western Hemispheres. Colombo was known to ancient merchants over 2000 years ago. However, it didn't become Sri Lanka's capital until it was ceded to the British Empire in 1815. The city boasts most of Sri Lanka's corporate offices, restaurants, and various entertainment venues. On this tour, you will visit Colombo's diverse historical, religious, and commercial sites, including the famous and bustling Pettah Port, the upscale Cinnamon Gardens residential area, Galle Face Green Square, Viharamahadevi Park, and Gangarama Temple. During your city tour, you can enjoy views of the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Centre (BMICH) and the Nelum Pokuna Theatre.
