Many people assume that working in a travel agency involves looking at beautiful photos and planning where to go. In reality, Travel Mama's daily life consists of a series of meticulous confirmations and a deep, attentive approach to our clients. Although we've transitioned to an OTA, losing the formality of opening the door to customers like we used to have a physical store, the workload has only increased. Every morning, what wakes us up isn't an alarm clock, but the WhatsApp notification on our phones. Because we handle many small private tours to Europe, due to the time difference, when our clients finish their day in Europe and are heading back to their hotels, it's morning in Hong Kong right there.

旅行社辦公室的日常工作

拉開窗簾,飲杯熱茶,我哋嘅「辦公室」就喺螢幕面前展開。第一件事唔係處理文件,而係睇吓尋晚出發去倫敦或者巴黎嘅客人:司機接機順唔順利?酒店 Check-in 有無問題?當見到客仔傳嚟一張喺大笨鐘前面嘅全家福,我哋先至可以安心咁食塊麵包,正式開始呢一日。

到咗中午,辦公室最響嘅聲唔係電話,而係大家討論行程嘅聲。做 OTA 唔代表只係撳幾個掣,背後有大量繁瑣嘅行政工作:核對小包團司機嘅資料、確認歐洲餐廳有無大枱、準備電子門票。有時為咗一個家庭客,我哋會反覆推敲:呢個瑞士景點老人家行唔行到?邊度搵廁所最方便?我哋甚至會幫想去睇英超嘅客,去 Tickets Mama 嗰邊睇吓最合適嘅波飛位置。呢啲嘢雖然平淡,但就係確保大家旅程順利嘅關鍵。

🍜 繁忙中嘅一點「平淡」

晏晝時分,落樓去茶餐廳飲杯凍檸茶,算係一日之中最放鬆嘅時間。心入面諗緊嘅依然係:下個禮拜去南法嗰組客,間酒莊預約好未?

返到公司,下午通常係「救火」時間。航班延誤、酒店突發狀況,呢啲都係我哋嘅家常便飯。記得上星期有個客喺歐洲遇到交通罷工,我哋即刻聯絡當地司導重新排過晒啲接送。雖然過程好燒腦,但當我哋冷靜幫客解決咗問題,嗰份成就感係任何嘢都代替唔到。

夜晚收工,街道霓虹燈閃爍。返到屋企洗個熱水澡,刷吓手機,見到客人喺 Group 入面讚緊今日個導遊好準時、間餐廳好食,成日嘅攰真係會消散晒。Travel Mama 嘅工作日常,雖然無驚心動魄嘅大冒險,但每一日我哋都喺度幫大家過濾伏位、守護假期。對我哋嚟講,平淡生活嘅價值,就係透過我哋嘅專業,換嚟你哋每一段唔平淡嘅旅遊回憶。
