The outbound flight is a direct flight from Hong Kong to Paro (KB 601). The return flight KB 600 makes a technical stop for refueling at Baghdogra (IXB), India, for approximately 45 minutes; passengers do not need to disembark.
Bhutan experiences four distinct seasons, with significant temperature differences between day and night in the mountainous regions. It is recommended to wear layered clothing and bring a warm jacket. Paro and Thimphu have an average altitude of approximately 2,200–2,400 meters, and severe altitude sickness is generally not expected. Tiger's Nest Monastery is at an altitude of approximately 3,120 meters; it is advisable to slow down when hiking there.
When entering religious sites, long-sleeved shirts and long pants/skirts are required; shorts, sleeveless shirts, or slippers are strictly prohibited. Hats and shoes must be removed before visiting temples; when within the grounds of a stupa, one should circumambulate clockwise.
