Day 1
Arrival at Nice Blue Coast Airport
Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel by private car. You will have some free time to relax or experience the French Riviera atmosphere at your own pace.

Day 2
BLUE COAST — SAINTE MAXIME — SAINT TROPEZ — MARSEILLE
We'll make a brief stop in Nice to enjoy the Promenade des Anglais (the English promenade). Then we'll head to Sainte Maxime, a charming seaside town, strolling through the harbor and historic center, where the 16th-century Square Tower is particularly striking. From there, we'll take a cruise across the beautiful bay to Saint Tropez. In this old fishing port, we can see some of the world's most luxurious yachts. After lunch, we'll continue to Marseille, France's second-largest city, to visit its vibrant Vieux port (old port).

Day 3
MARSEILLE — ARLES — AVIGNON — LYON
Today we'll see some of the most beautiful places in Provence. First up is Arles, a World Heritage city showcasing Roman and medieval heritage and reminiscent of Van Gogh. In Les Baux-de-Provence, we'll have the opportunity to visit this small medieval village and tour the Carrières des Lumières, an impressive art, image, and sound show set in a former quarry. In Avignon, we'll have time for lunch and a stroll, and visit the grand Palais des Papes. Afterwards, we'll head to Lyon, wandering through its World Heritage Old Town, and take a cable car up to the Notre Dame de Fourviere, a massive basilica offering panoramic views of the city.

Day 4
LYON — TOURNUS — SAVIGNY CASTLE — BEAUNE — DIJON
We will depart from Lyon and travel to the Burgundy region. Our first stop will be Tournus, a charming town with magnificent stone gates and a large monastery. Afterwards, we will head to Beaune, where we will have time for lunch and to explore this wine capital of Burgundy. We recommend visiting the wine museum or the historic Hospices de Beaune. Next, we will visit Savigny Castle, located in the heart of this wine region. This 15th-century castle houses some remarkable museums (motorcycle, racing, airplane, and helicopter museums). Finally, we will travel to Dijon, the capital of Burgundy, with its vibrant streets and numerous medieval and Renaissance buildings, most notably the Duke's Palace.

Day 5
DIJON — ABBEY OF FONTENAY — SEMUR EN AUXOIS — VEZELAY — PARIS
We will leave Dijon for Fontenay Abbey, a World Heritage site where we will visit this Cistercian center. Afterwards, we will stop in Semur-en-Auxois, a medieval city surrounded by magnificent walls. Still in Burgundy, we will have lunch and a stroll in Vezelay, one of the most beautiful villages in France, whose grand basilica is one of the starting points of the Way of St. James. In the afternoon, we will continue our journey to Paris, arriving in the evening.

Day 6
Palace of Versailles and Montmartre
We come into contact with the history of France in the immense Palace of Versailles (admission not included) with its beautiful gardens. After that, on our way back to Paris, we head to Montmartre, and take a cable car (included) to go up to this bohemian neighborhood known for its painters, artists and cabarets. To contemplate the beauty of the impressive avenues and monuments of Paris, you will have the city tour with a local guide. Return to the hotel. Optionally you can attend the variety show.

Day 7
Eiffel Tower and the Seine River
We head to the centre of Paris, starting with the Eiffel Tower area, where you will have the opportunity to go up to the second floor of this remarkable metal monument (ticket included). Then we enjoy a boat cruise along the River Seine, which divides the north of Paris from the south. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore as you choose. Note: in some cases the waits to go up the Eiffel Tower are long, so the climb may take place at a different time (or on Sunday), if it is considered convenient for organisational reasons.

Day 8
Paris trip ended
