Can I choose my own departure date?
Yes. This is a private small group tour, not a fixed departure. You can enquire on your preferred dates and Travel Mama will check availability and quote.
Can this tour be combined with the Trans-Siberian Railway?
Yes. The tour can start and end at the airport or the train station, which suits rail travellers on a stopover; train tickets are to be arranged by travellers.
What are the bathroom facilities like at the ger camp?
Standard traditional gers usually have shared bathrooms; ask us about a Deluxe upgrade (subject to availability).
What flights are available between Hong Kong and Ulaanbaatar?
For winter 2026/27 (25 October 2026 to 27 March 2027), you can refer to MIAT Mongolian Airlines flights OM298/OM297 and OM2972/OM2971 between Hong Kong (HKG) and Ulaanbaatar (UBN). All times are local time; the actual flight time is approximately 4 hours 35 minutes to 4 hours 40 minutes. Please refer to the MIAT website for the latest schedule. International airfare is generally not included in the tour price.
What are the requirements for passport validity?
Guests must hold a valid passport valid for at least 6 months from the return date and confirm the visa/entry requirements themselves.
