The following countries have zero tolerance for passport validity and even verify it using electronic declaration systems. Passports with less than 6 months validity have a very high chance of being deported on the same flight:

• Taiwan:Generally, a passport with six months of validity is required. Although the requirement may be relaxed to three months for online visa or visa on arrival applications, airline ground staff mostly use six months as the standard, so it is advisable to be on the safe side.
• Thailand:Passports must be valid for at least 6 months.
• Singapore:It is clearly stipulated that the passport must be valid for at least 6 months and the SG Arrival Card must be completed within 3 days before arrival.
• Malaysia:Passports must be valid for at least 6 months and MDAC (Malaysia Electronic Arrival Card) must be completed within 3 days prior to arrival.
• South Korea:Passports must be valid for 6 months or more, and a return ticket is required.
