Our flexible and relaxed small group arrangements allow you to delve into every wonderful moment and experience true travel freedom and fun.
Day 1: First Experience of Foshan Ancestral Temple and Lingnan Xintiandi
In the morning, we departed from Shenzhen Bay, taking the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge directly to Zhongshan. Laughter filled the car throughout the journey—all four of us were full of energy, seemingly ready to embrace this exciting trip. Our driver/guide was incredibly professional, not only possessing superb driving skills but also frequently sharing scenic views and stories along the way, making the entire journey both fun and informative. He was a key figure in this trip, ensuring our safety and adding meaning and depth to each stop, making the journey more fulfilling and unforgettable. At noon, we enjoyed a pigeon lunch in Zhongshan at Jinshan Ji Liangji Restaurant. A four-person meal was arranged, with each person happily munching on a delicious, tender pigeon, a sight that impressed everyone with Zhongshan's culinary culture. The advantage of a small group tour is that we could quickly find seats, avoiding the waiting or being separated due to a large group.
In the afternoon, we visited the Foshan Ancestral Temple, which can be considered the essence of Lingnan culture. The lion dance performance by Wong Fei-hung was particularly exhilarating. After the performance, we strolled around the temple, appreciating the solemnity of the ancient architecture and the rich heritage of Lingnan culture. The carvings, murals, and ancient bell tower within the temple exuded a profound sense of history, inspiring awe. In the evening, we checked into the Cordis Hotel Lingnan Tiandi, located in the heart of Lingnan Xintiandi. Wandering through the brightly lit Lingnan Xintiandi at night, the street food and shops were filled with a nostalgic charm and modern creativity, making for a wonderful evening of strolling. This small group tour allowed us more freedom to plan our itinerary, stopping to take photos and browse shops whenever we wanted, without having to worry about the pace of a large group. Lingnan Xintiandi was dazzling with lights at night, and every corner held a surprise. We even encountered a street performance, spending a vibrant evening accompanied by music and laughter.

Day 2: Artistic Atmosphere and Beautiful Views of the Canton Tower
The next morning, we enjoyed a sumptuous buffet breakfast at the hotel. The breakfast selection was extensive, ranging from Chinese pastries to Western baked goods, leaving everyone thoroughly satisfied. After our meal, we drove to Shamian Island in Guangzhou. Shamian is a place steeped in colonial history, with every building exuding a rich historical atmosphere. The streets of Shamian are quiet and elegant, making you feel as if you've traveled back to Guangzhou decades ago. The art exhibition at the Baietan Greater Bay Area Art Center was very interesting, blending modern and traditional elements. I even couldn't resist taking photos with some of the quirky artworks. The atmosphere at the art center was very relaxing; we each found a piece we liked, and some installation art was particularly eye-catching, making us linger for quite a while.
At noon, we had lunch at Bridge Food House. The dishes there were not only generously portioned but also quite delicious, leaving the four of us thoroughly satisfied. The advantage of a small group tour also lies in restaurant selection; we had more flexibility in choosing local specialties without worrying about the size of the group. After lunch, we enjoyed afternoon tea at a nearby café—a leisurely arrangement rarely seen in large tour groups. In the afternoon, we visited the Canton Tower and took a tram tour of the most beautiful 7K attractions, a journey that felt like stepping into a romantic movie scene. From the top of the Canton Tower, we could overlook the entire city, and the blend of modern and traditional scenery was breathtaking. As the tram slowly traveled through the streets of Guangzhou, we admired the surrounding scenery, from old alleyways to skyscrapers, gaining a deeper understanding of the city. In the evening, we checked into the Guangzhou Shangri-La Hotel and enjoyed a comfortable night. The hotel's facilities were comprehensive, and the service was excellent, allowing us to get a good rest.
Day 3: Close encounters with the animals
On the morning of the third day, we enjoyed a buffet breakfast at the Shangri-La Hotel. The abundant selection made us feel right at home once again. Then we headed to Chimelong Safari Park. Our driver-guide not only arranged all the tickets for us but also provided many helpful suggestions to ensure we could better enjoy this adventure. His professionalism and enthusiasm made the trip incredibly convenient and comfortable, allowing us to experience every wonderful moment without worry. Chimelong Safari Park was the highlight of the trip. The package included a chartered car for the self-drive area, tickets, and entrance fees, allowing the four of us to get up close to a variety of animals. Especially in the self-drive area, seeing lions and giraffes walk past the car window was a breathtaking and novel experience. This small group format allowed us more time to linger and observe, without the pressure of rushing through each attraction. The park's design was ingenious, not only giving us the opportunity to see wild animals rarely seen in daily life but also providing many interactive experiences, such as feeding the giraffes. These close encounters filled us with awe and curiosity about nature.
At noon, we arrived at Nansha 19th Wharf and enjoyed a sumptuous seafood lunch at Weijing Fishing Village. The seafood at Weijing Fishing Village was incredibly fresh; from shrimp and crab to fish, every dish was unforgettable. The delicious seafood was irresistible, especially the local shrimp and crab, which were sweet and flavorful, leaving all four of us thoroughly satisfied. We also sampled the local specialty soups, which were rich yet not greasy, leaving us feeling very content. In the afternoon, we concluded our journey filled with laughter and wonder and returned to Shenzhen Bay Port. Although the trip ended, the memories will remain in our hearts. All the way back, we reminisced about the wonderful moments of the past three days, from cultural exploration to interaction with nature; every experience was filled with joy and emotion.
