Day 1
Arrival in Lima
Upon arrival in Lima on your international flight, you will be transferred to your hotel. After check-in, you are free to relax or explore the city at your own pace. Enjoy a leisurely stroll through Parque Kennedy or admire the stunning coastal views along the Miraflores promenade. Lima is also renowned as South America's culinary capital, so don't miss the opportunity to sample its famous local dishes.
Day 2
Islas Ballestas and Huacachina Oasis
Departing from Lima to Paracas, take a boat to Islas Ballestas, passing the mysterious Candelabra Geoglyph nestled on the coastal hillsides. As you approach the island, you can observe sea lions, Humboldt Penguins, and various seabirds. Afterwards, visit a winery in Ica, explore the desert oasis Huacachina, and experience off-road dune buggies and sandboarding.
Day 3
Fly to Iquitos and check into Treehouse Lodge
Fly to Iquitos in the morning, transfer to the pier, and then take a speedboat to Treehouse Lodge (approximately 2.5 hours by car and boat). After checking into your treehouse, you will be led by a private guide to participate in a variety of complimentary jungle adventure activities (subject to water levels and weather conditions).
Day 4
Amazon Rainforest Experience
Treehouse Lodge is located in one of the headwaters of the Amazon River, in one of the world's most biodiverse areas. You can participate in a variety of free jungle adventure activities (subject to water levels and weather), such as sunrise birdwatching, canoeing, rainforest trekking/boat cruises, and more, experiencing the unique rainforest ecosystem.
Day 5
Leaving the Amazon and flying to Arequipa
Spend your last morning in a treehouse and rainforest, then return to Iquitos by speedboat and private car to be transferred to the airport. Take an afternoon flight to the White City – Arequipa.
Day 6
Arequipa City Guide
Travel to the communities of Yanahuara and Carmen Alto to admire the nearby valleys and volcanoes and learn about the landscape and natural beauty of Arequipa. Afterwards, visit Plaza de Armas to see the Jesuit church, which boasts exquisite colonial-style art and architecture. Finally, head to Santa Catalina Monastery, known as a "city within a city," to learn about the monastic life of the past.
Day 7
Heading to Chivay
Depart for Chivay—the gateway to the Colca Canyon—and enjoy breathtaking views of the Andean highlands along the way. After checking into your hotel, you can visit La Calera Hot Springs at your leisure to enjoy the natural waters. A traditional dinner and folk dance performance are arranged for the evening.
Day 8
Heading to Colca Canyon
Head to the famous Mirador Cruz del Condor for a breathtaking panoramic view of the Colca Canyon, one of the world's deepest canyons, and observe the Andean Condor. After lunch, depart for Puno, with a brief stop en route in Lagunillas, depending on the situation, to admire this picturesque lake region and its rich birdlife. Arrive in Puno in the evening.
Day 9
Lake Titicaca Day Trip
We will depart from Puno by sightseeing boat to visit Islas Uros (floating islands) made of woven reeds, and learn about the Uru people's way of life and architectural techniques. Continuing our journey, we will sail to the tranquil and rustic Isla Amantaní, where you can enjoy a traditional lunch and admire the stunning lake scenery, immersing yourself in a peaceful atmosphere. Finally, we will return to Puno by boat.
Day 10
The Road to the Sun, heading to Cusco
The road trip begins in Puno and heads to Cusco. En route, visitors will stop at the Pukara Cultural Stone Carving Museum, Raya Pass, the Wiracocha Temple, and the Andahuaylillas Church. Arrive in Cusco in the evening.
Day 11
Sacred Valley Day Trip
First, visit Chinchero, a colonial-era church built on Inca foundations, and the well-preserved Inca stone walls. Then proceed to Moray, the site of circular terraced fields, believed to be an agricultural experimentation ground for the Incas. Next, head to Maras Salt Mines, salt ponds situated on a hillside, forming a honeycomb-like terraced landscape. Finally, visit the ruins of Ollantaytambo, the best-preserved Inca town, before taking a train to Aguas Calientes.
Day 12
Machu Picchu Day Trip
In the morning, take a bus to Machu Picchu – a city high in the Andes Mountains. Stroll among the ruins' temples, plazas, and terraces, enjoying breathtaking panoramic views and learning about the Inca civilization's remarkable achievements in architecture and engineering through exquisite craftsmanship. Enjoy free time to explore Aguas Calientes and have lunch. In the afternoon, return to Cusco by train and shuttle bus.
Day 13
Rainbow Mountain Hiking Experience
Departing from Cusco in the early morning, passing through Andean villages, and having breakfast, we begin a 1.5-hour hike. Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca), located at an altitude of 5,200 meters, boasts vibrant red, green, yellow, and purple stripes due to the presence of various minerals, making it one of the world's most unique natural wonders. Previously covered in snow and ice, its true beauty has only recently been revealed as global climate change has caused the snow and ice to recede. Along the way, you can see various alpacas, plains, and snow-capped mountains.
Day 14
The journey has ended.
