13-Day Europe Spain & Portugal Tour – Guaranteed Departure

Welcome to Madrid! Upon arrival at the airport, we will arrange transfer to your hotel. You will have free time while waiting for the tour to begin. Please check the information signs in the hotel reception area for details regarding the welcome reception with your guide and other guests. In the evening, we will take you to Madrid's famous Plaza Mayor and La Latina district, the heart of Madrid's nightlife and tapas restaurants. You are free to choose from a variety of restaurants here for dinner, including Indian, Chinese, Spanish, and Middle Eastern cuisine.

In the morning, we will begin a comprehensive guided tour of Madrid's city center, visiting famous landmarks such as Paseo del Prado, Plaza de Cibeles, the Neptuno Fountain, Puerta de Alcalá, Plaza Colón, and Plaza Mayor. Next, we will visit Retiro Park, a beautiful oasis in the city center where you will see a lake and the Crystal Palace. Afterwards, we will visit the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, home of Real Madrid and considered by many to be one of the best football clubs in the world. In the afternoon, you will have free time to explore the city. In the evening, we will arrange transfer back to your hotel.

Madrid – Zaragoza – Poblet Monastery – Barcelona In the morning, we will depart Madrid, traveling through Castile to Aragon. Our first stop is Zaragoza, where we will visit the magnificent Our Lady of the Pillar Cathedral. Next, we will travel to the tranquil Poblet Monastery, one of the best-preserved medieval monasteries in the world (entrance fee included). Finally, we will arrive in Barcelona and check into our hotel for the evening.

In the morning, we will take a panoramic tour of Barcelona, a charming Mediterranean city renowned for its modern architecture in Gaudi, the famous Ramblas, and its rich history as a former host of the World's Fair and the Olympic Games. The afternoon is free time. In the evening, we will take you to the Maremagnum waterfront entertainment district near Plaza de Colón, where you can enjoy a leisurely stroll and choose a restaurant for dinner.

Barcelona – Peniscola – Valencia: Traveling south along the Mediterranean coast, we'll stop in Peniscola, a medieval walled town surrounded by beautiful beaches where you can stroll and enjoy the scenery. Next, we'll head to Valencia, arriving around noon. In the afternoon, we'll explore this port city with over 2000 years of history with a local guide, visiting its historical sites and modern architecture, such as the City of Arts and Sciences. Afterwards, you'll have free time to explore Valencia.

Valencia – Alicante – Caravaca de la Cruz – Granada We continue our journey to the enchanting Alicante, with its beautiful coastline perfect for leisurely strolls. After lunch, we'll travel to the Murcia region to visit Caravaca de la Cruz, a city designated a holy city by the Catholic Church, whose church houses relics of the cross. We'll then take a tourist train to the historic district. Following this, after a scenic drive, we'll arrive in Granada, the vibrant city of Andalusia.

Granada: We will spend the whole day in Granada. If your itinerary includes admission, we will visit the magnificent Alhambra Palace and the beautiful Generalife Gardens, both masterpieces of the Arab era. In the afternoon, you will have free time to explore the city, including the chapel where Catholic monarchs are buried. Important Note: By law, the number of visitors to the Alhambra is strictly limited. To ensure your visit, tickets will be issued upon confirmation of your booking. Please ensure you provide accurate personal information (name and passport/ID number) when booking. Please note that admission fees are non-refundable upon cancellation. In rare cases where access to the Alhambra is not possible, we will instead visit the Royal Alcázar of Seville, which is equally historically and architecturally significant.

Granada – Malaga – Marbella – Ronda – Seville. Starting from Granada, we'll head to Costa del Sol. Our first stop is Malaga, whose historic district is famous for its cathedral and Picasso Museum. Afterwards, we'll travel along the coastal road, enjoying stunning Mediterranean views, and arrive at the luxurious port of Puerto Banús in Marbella. In the afternoon, we'll continue our journey through magnificent mountains, reaching the white town of Ronda nestled on a cliff, and finally arriving in Seville in the evening.

In the morning, we will begin a guided city tour of Seville, visiting the famous Giralda Tower and Cathedral, and cruising along the banks of the Guadalquivir River, as well as the popular Santa Cruz and Triana districts. Afterwards, we will take a boat trip on the Guadalquivir River for beautiful panoramic views (boat ticket included). In the evening, you can choose to attend a local flamenco performance.

Seville – Merida – Evora – Lisbon We will leave Seville, traversing stunning mountains and meadows, to reach Merida in Extremadura. Visit the well-preserved Roman theater and amphitheater (tickets included), a World Heritage site boasting breathtaking preservation. You will have time for lunch in this charming local town and to explore its vibrant historic center. Afterwards, we continue our journey to Portugal, making a brief stop in Evora, a World Heritage city known for its white streets, Renaissance palaces, and cathedral. Arrive in Lisbon in the evening.

In the morning, we'll embark on a sightseeing tour of Lisbon, exploring the Portuguese capital built on seven hills. Here you'll find charming alleyways, iconic tiled buildings, and the beautiful glow of the Atlantic Ocean. We'll also visit the Belem district, the starting point for many great Portuguese navigators' voyages across the sea. In the afternoon, you're free to enjoy the local life and head to the Bairro Alto district for panoramic city views. In the evening, we'll take you back to your hotel from the vibrant Restaurantadores square.

Lisbon – Caceres – Madrid In the morning, we will depart Portugal, passing through the beautiful Alentejo region and making a brief stop in Estremoz, a charming town renowned for its medieval castle, cobblestone streets, and tranquil atmosphere. Afterwards, we will cross the Spanish border and arrive in Caceres, where you will have time for lunch and to explore one of the world's best-preserved medieval and Renaissance cities. Finally, we will arrive in Madrid in the evening.

After breakfast in Madrid, this wonderful journey will come to an end, leaving behind unforgettable memories.
