Luye Highland, located in Luye Township, Taitung County, is one of Taiwan's most iconic hot air balloon landing and takeoff sites. The vast grasslands, magnificent sea of clouds, and the sunrise over the Pacific Ocean create a picturesque natural canvas, attracting countless domestic and international tourists every year. The 2025 event will be held... July 5 to August 21 For more than a month, a visual and sensory feast unfolded on this land embraced by mountains and blue skies.

This year's highlight: The Doraemon hot air balloon family makes a grand appearance.

To commemorate the 45th anniversary of the Doraemon movies, the event features newly designed Doraemon-themed hot air balloons, featuring his best friends—Nobita, Shizuka, Gian, and Suneo—forming an adorable balloon family that will take to the skies together for the first time in Taiwan! This is the first time in Taiwan and one of the very few events in Asia to see a complete set of Doraemon-themed hot air balloons on stage together, making it an unmissable pilgrimage for anime fans and families!
