Ice Cream Museum: Visiting museums isn't just for artsy types or hipsters. The Museum of Ice Cream Singapore is a place that adults and children alike will enjoy. It boasts numerous photo spots and offers all-you-can-eat ice cream, providing visitors with a truly delightful experience.

Features of the Museum and Background of the Opening

The Singapore Ice Cream Museum, the first branch outside the United States and in Asia, took three years to build. Despite the impact of the pandemic, the museum overcame numerous difficulties to open, hoping to help everyone rediscover their childlike wonder and experience a joyful atmosphere. The museum also hopes that visitors will use the opportunity to take photos and create, inspiring creativity and imagination, and interacting with the world.

Location

Located in a former colonial military barracks in Singapore's Dempsey area, the museum covers approximately 60,000 square feet and includes fourteen sensory interactive and photo-worthy areas. The most attractive feature is the world's largest rainbow sprinkler pool, a ball pit-like facility that draws numerous visitors and has become a social media hotspot.

Popular tourist attractions

The Dragon Playground inside the pavilion is inspired by playgrounds in Singapore's residential areas in the 1970s, evoking fond memories for locals. Other highlights include the Banana Jungle, the California Beach themed around a pink oasis, a giant installation of Singapore's signature Potong popsicles, and a pink magnetic wall, all sure to excite visitors.

Authentic and distinctive flavors

During the visit, the Ice Cream Museum offers unlimited samples of ice cream and desserts, and features a coffee shop and bar for visitors to enjoy specialty foods and drinks. Authentic flavors include coconut black glutinous rice Potong ice cream, lemon coconut balls, lychee rose syrup with milk ice cream, and taro milk tea ice cream sandwiches, satisfying the taste buds while allowing visitors to experience the local flavor of Singapore.
